Double Hackle Bead Head
Although this style of fly has been around forever, only anglers "in-the-know" fish them ...good! We're the ones catching all the fish. Double hackle nymphs are likely to be productive in just about all fishing environments and situations. I tie these slim, and the gold bead adds some flash and gets them down to the fish. For lakes, I like a number 10, streams, 12 and tied on a dropper (a Great way to use these) a size 14.
