Pine Moth

In the Rockies, expect to find the pine moths out just after the Fourth of July. If you're lucky enough to find a "hatch", this fly can provide action that is nothing short of...embarrassing , huge numbers offish big ones too! No moths around? No worries , a Pine Moth is a great attractor dry fly and its high visibility and excellent flotation make it the perfect choice for a dry-and-dropper rig. Usually size 12 is what you want , but I've landed some big boys on a number 10, 12, and 14 available.
